Pinshot Golf is an HTML5 physics puzzle game built with Phaser 3 and Matter physics. Drag anywhere to aim with a dotted trajectory preview, release to shoot, and sink every colored ball into the hole. 30 hand-built holes with glass walls that shatter on fast impacts, knockable pins, springs and tilted platforms - no build step, no npm install, just serve the folder and play.
Highlights
- 30 hand-built holes, one plain-JS file each, with sequential unlock and green checkmarks for completed holes
- Drag-anywhere aiming with power cap and dotted trajectory preview - feels right on mouse and touch
- Interactive obstacles: fast impacts shatter glass walls, pins topple above knock speed, springs bounce on 4 orientations
- Realistic hole capture: moderate speed sinks the ball, too fast bounces out
- Win condition is automatic - every colored ball must reach the hole
- Lost-ball auto-retry and auto-pause when switching browser tabs
- Main menu with floating balls and sound toggle, level select grid, pause panel and level-complete screen with Next Level and Replay
- Web Audio synthesized SFX - no audio files
- localStorage save for progress - no accounts, no backend
Technology
- Phaser 3.80 (local lib/phaser.min.js, no CDN needed), JavaScript ES modules
- Matter physics for realistic rolling, bounces and breakables
- SVG vector game art rasterized at boot - no image downloads
- Web Audio API synthesis for all sound
- Central config.js: canvas size, colors, shot speed, drag distance, glass/pin/hole speed thresholds
Requirements
- Any static web server for development (a one-line python3 command is included) or any static host to publish
- Any modern browser - no install, no build step, no keys, 100% offline
What You Get
- Complete source: 5 scenes, aim/collision systems, 6 entity classes and 30 level files
- Level authoring format (launcher, hole, balls, pins, glass, springs, platforms) with documentation
- documentation.html: quick start, screens, project structure, re-skinning, level editing, physics tuning and publishing checklist
- README.md and 7 screenshots
- Full rights to rebrand, reskin, extend and publish anywhere
