Vidora is a native SwiftUI AI image and video editor for iOS 17, built for apps that put generative AI in your pocket. It ships with a complete manual editor (layers, crop, draw, text, shapes, filters and color adjustments) plus a full AI generation suite: prompt-based image generation and editing, image-to-video, character animation, multi-reference generation, video effects and AI video editing with edit, outpaint, repaint and extend actions. Monetization is built in with a StoreKit 2 credits paywall, and the UI is localized in 20+ languages.

Highlights

  • Prompt tab: text-to-image generation and AI image editing with a live API credits balance
  • Image to Video: turn any still image into an AI-generated video clip
  • Character animation and multi-reference image generation
  • Video Effects and AI Video Editing: edit, outpaint, repaint and extend actions driven by prompts
  • Generation result screen with save and share, generation history and settings
  • Full manual editor: layer system, crop overlay, freehand drawing, text, shapes, filters and color adjustments
  • StoreKit 2 credits paywall: credit packs via In-App Purchase, balance tracking and restore purchases
  • CloudKit sync with iCloud entitlement setup walkthrough (REQUIRED for sync features)
  • Localized UI in 20+ languages (Localizable.strings: English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, and more)
  • Custom tab bar, intro popups, empty states and haptics throughout
  • PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy privacy manifest with the required-reason UserDefaults declaration
  • iPhone and iPad, iOS 17.0+ deployment target, zero third-party dependencies

Technology

  • Swift 5.9, SwiftUI (iOS 17.0+), no CocoaPods or SPM packages
  • Bring-your-own backend over a simple documented JSON API (op, token, device, version, uniqId) - the header of API/imgB64.swift is the full API reference
  • Provider agnostic: your backend can call Gemini, OpenAI, Replicate, fal.ai or any other AI service; the app only expects the documented JSON responses
  • Two placeholder tokens (client token + video token) and the endpoint URL are configured in one place each, clearly marked
  • StoreKit 2 In-App Purchases for credit packs
  • CloudKit for iCloud sync, entitlements file included
  • One-place color theming, bundled fonts and launch images

Requirements

  • Mac with Xcode 15 or later, iOS 17.0+ device or simulator
  • A backend that implements the documented JSON API (the Swift client compiles and runs out of the box; generation features need the backend configured)
  • Your own AI provider account and its usage costs are NOT included - you configure your own provider and pay its API credits directly
  • Apple Developer account: signing team, iCloud container for sync, and In-App Purchase products in App Store Connect (setup steps in the documentation)
  • Legal pages: replace the placeholder Terms of Use and Privacy Policy URLs before submitting to the App Store

What You Get

  • Complete Xcode source project with 100% Swift/SwiftUI code, zero third-party dependencies
  • API client layer (API/iAP.swift, API/imgB64.swift) with the backend contract documented in-code
  • Localizable.strings for 20+ languages, app icon, launch images and asset catalog
  • PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy privacy manifest and Vidora.entitlements
  • Illustrated HTML documentation: requirements, Xcode first steps, icon replacement, one-place re-theming, full backend + API reference, credit system, CloudKit entitlement setup, StoreKit sandbox testing, localization guide, troubleshooting, content customization and App Store submission checklist
  • Full rights to rebrand, reskin, extend and publish anywhere

Please note: this is a source code template, not a finished published app. The AI backend, your AI provider account and its usage costs are your responsibility - the documentation explains every configuration step. Basic Xcode knowledge is required to build, customize and publish. If you have questions, use the contact form on the site, I usually reply within 24 hours.
